Apart from the beaches, the pool and the beautiful weather to enjoy, there are many kids’ activities in the area.  At Sigean which is only about half an hour away there is a wild life park with over 4000 animals including children’s favourites such as elephants and lions.

There are Aqualand parks at Port Leucate and St Cyprien.

A bit further away between Agde and Sete is a dinosaur park.

French Restaurants are usually child friendly so no problem taking them with you when you want to try out the local cuisine.

For grown up kids, there is wind surfing at Le Franqui, water skiing at Port Bacarès, sailing at various places, golf at Carcassonne and St Cyprien.  There is a tennis court in the village, lots of places for walking or hiking, museums and the castles and churches.

In winter there is skiing at places such as Font Romeu.
